Our staff are a team of highly qualified and dedicated individuals who work together using their wealth of experience to support and care for children at Preschool 345.

Some information about our wonderful team.

Tina by Mia aged 4Tina McGrath is our Manager. She is the special needs co-ordinator (SENCO) and has responsibility for safeguarding. Tina holds an Level 3 NVQ and a degree in Early Years and is also a Forest School Practitioner Level 3.
Favourite activity at preschool: Dancing, anything physical and telling stories.
Trudi_imageTrudi Elcome is our deputy manager, our business administrator and has a key person role. She has an Early years degree and a PGCE (Early Years). She also has First aid and Food hygiene certification.
Favourite activity at preschool: Building!  Making the train track, houses, model making and painting.
Mandy by JayMandy Kirk is one of our early years practitioners and has a key person role. She is our language lead and the named person for equality, diversity and inclusion issues. Mandy holds a Level 3 certificate in Childcare and Education and has First aid certification.
Favourite activity at preschool: Bubbles!
Catherine by Seth aged 3Catherine Russell is one of our early years practitioners and has a key person role. She is also our newsletter correspondent, diversity and inclusion co-ordinator and play dough designer. Catherine holds a Level 3 certificate in Children and Young peoples Workforce and has First aid certification.
Favourite activity at preschool: Rockabillies
Angela by Hussnain aged 4Angela Swain is one of our early years practitioners and has a key person role. She is responsible for organising the kitchen and snacks, children’s birthdays and keeping the first aid kit up to date. Angela holds a  Level 3 CACHE qualification and is currently working towards Level 3. She also is has Paediatric First aid certification and Food safety and hygiene Level 2.

Lyndsey by Edward aged 4
Lyndsey Pidluznyj
is an early years practitioner who is on our supply team. Lyndsey holds an Early Years Childcare and Education Level 3 qualification.
Favourite activity at preschool: Lego, of course! Although I have to remember to be good and share and not mind when a child breaks up my creations! 🙂
Helen by Daisy aged 3Helen Morgan is one of our early years practitioners and has a key person role. Helen holds a Level 3 CACHE qualification and has First aid certification.
Favourite activity at preschool: The home corner
by Thandiwe aged 4Raj is one of our early years practitioners and has a key person role. She holds a Level 6 Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Education and childhood studies.

Role of the Key person

Every child is given a key person who’s role is to;

  • Help your child settle into preschool
  • Build up a relationship with you and your child
  • Monitor closely the progress of your child
  • Keep developmental records
  • Liaise with you and keep you informed about how your child is settling in and his/her progress
